The CJCA is looking for a few more umpires for its upcoming Spring Festival and LOTS of umpires for its January Festivals 10-13 January 2022 (South Island Boys Festival) and 20-22 January 2022 (South Island Girls Festival).
If you have a Level 1 umpiring qualification (or higher) or have umpired with confidence at Youth level then there are numerous opportunties to umpire this Summer.

JANUARY SOUTH ISLAND FESTIVAL (BOYS) 10-13 JANUARY 2022
The CJCA is seeking Umpries for the 4 day South Island Primary Schools Festival (Christchurch) – this is the 2nd Tier South Island event with the higher tier being held at Alexandra. This is mainly feature current Year 7 and 8 players. Games are 20/20 for first 2 days and 40 overs for Days 3 & 4.
The Christchurch Festival will be held at the Polo Grounds and other grounds depending on the number of entries.
Umpires will ideally be available all 4 days and will be reimbursed for their time at a rate of $50 per day.
SOUTH ISLAND GIRLS FESTIVAL 20-22 JANUARY 2022
We are also seeking Umpireses preferably Girls but Boys may register for the 10th South Island Girls Festival to be held 20-22 Janaury 2022 at Burnside Park and Edgar MacIntosh Park. All games are 20/20 with two on Wedneday adn Thursday adn one on Friday. The event should finish by 2pm on Friday the 22nd.
