After advising Clubs & Schools we now have just 6 spots available in the CJCA Level 1 Umpiring Course on Sunday the 29th of September. The 9am session is total full but there are still spots for this 3 hour course starting at 12.30pm.
The CJCA is pleased to announce the space still remaining in its Level 1 Umpiring Course for 2024.
This Course will be held at the Umpires Pavilion beside Hagley Oval and is initially open to Year 8 players who wish to upskill themselves in Umpiring to Level 1 certification.
The Course will be held on Sunday the 29th of September (this is the first Sunday of the School Holidays). There will be sessions beginning at 9am (session full) & 12.30pm (limited to 20 in each group).
THERE ARE CURRENTLY 12 SPACES STILL AVAILABLE IN THE 12.30PM SESSION – this is FIRST IN FIRST SERVED – it is hoped that those who miss out will be able to put through training when they join their Youth Clubs – both those attending or those who miss out could complete the On-Line Foundation Course by following this link.

Participants should bring a DEVICE that has the KAHOOT app loaded so they complete a short exam at the end of the Course.
In addition to giving participants the skills they will need to self-umpire when they move into Youth Cricket in 2025 those who pass the exam will be able to be appointed to matches at CJCA Festivals in the future. Girls are welcome to enrol but there will be a Girls & Womens only Umpiring Course co-ordinated by Metro Cricket 24th September at the OBC Pavilion.
