REGISTRATIONS FOR THE CJCA SPRING FESTIVAL HAVE CLOSED – 

BUT WE ARE STILL SEEKING A FEW MORE YEAR 6 & YEAR 7 BOYS FOR THE 2ND AND 3RD DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL – 2ND AND 9TH NOVEMBER – cost would be reduced to $50.

These Festivals are only open to Players from Christchurch Clubs and Schools. Girls may enrol but it is recommended you in the first instance contact the CJCA [email protected] or the CJCA Girls Convenor Emma Norrish [email protected] to see the suitability for each individual to register.

There will be a specifc Girls Spring Festival once the season begins.

The objectives of these Festivals are to provide ALL Boys and 6, 7 and 8 Boys the opportunity to have fun and develop their skills at a higher level of cricket than they may get access to via Saturday cricket – all current ability levels are welcome to enrol.

ASSESSMENT FOR ALL YEAR 6 (2025) PLAYERS ON SUNDAY THE 5TH OF OCTOBER between 12noon & 3pm.  Year 7 & 8 players WHO HAVE YET TO PLAY IN A CJCA FESTIVAL will be assessed on Friday the 10th of October between 5pm and 6pm at the Sir Richard Hadlee Centre beside Hagley Oval.

These assessments are an opportunity for grade convenors and others to create even teams for the festival and ensure all teams have sufficient wicket keepers and a variety of bowling types in each team.

The venue for these assessments will be the Sir Richard Hadlee Centre at Hagley Oval – Players may register from mid August and choose a ONE HOUR slot where they will be do some batting and bowling.

BOYS – The 2025 Boys Spring Festival will be held on the 19th October, 2nd and 9th of November 2025.  PLAYERS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR TIER 1 CJCA TEAMS IN JANUARY SHOULD PLAY THIS FESTIVAL.
