Existing member Clubs and Schools, Officers, Life and Honorary Members are requested to attend a SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING of the Christchurch Junior Cricket Association at 6.30pm on Monday the 2nd of March 2026 for the Consideration of the Adoption of a new Constitution to comply with the new Incorporated Societies Act which needs to be submitted and approved by April in order for the Association to maintain its status as a Incorporated Society.
The venue for the Meeting will be upstairs at the Clubrooms for the Burnside West University Cricket Club on Avonhead Road.
We must have at least 12 delegates of Clubs or Schools PRESENT so please advise the CJCA prior to the meeting of who will be your Club or School delegate for this the most substantial change to the Constitution in the history of the CJCA. NO PROXIES ARE PERMITTED.
The current Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of the CJCA in addition to Life & Honorary Members are also asked to attend and may vote in this meeting.
