Mandeville / Polo Festivals January

This page provides information for CJCA teams and players that wish to participate in the events organised by the CJCA and the Canterbury Country Cricket Associations each year in January.

NEW YEAR YEAR 7 FESTIVAL 2021

This festival is open to all CJCA Boys who are currently Year 6 and moving to Year 7 at school in 2020.

The draw for this event will be placed here when available.

Dates – 11-14 January 2021 – Monday Thursday (9.30-4pm approx.)

Venues – Alternating between Polo Grounds and Mandeville (North Canterbury)

Format –

Days 1 & 2 – Coaching Skill Sessions in morning followed by 20/20 games in the afternoon

Days 3 & 4 – Games based on Day 1 and 2 results – 35 or 40 over games TBC

Pitch Length – 18m

Cost – $50 per player.

This festival is open to all CJCA Boys who are currently Year 7 and moving to Year 8 at school in 2020.

Venue – Polo Grounds

Format –

Days 1 & 2 – Two 20/20 games each day 10am and approx 1.45 pm starts

Days 3 & 4 – Games based on Day 1 and 2 results – 35 or 40 over games TBC

Pitch Length – 18m

Cost – $50 per player.

This festival is open to all CJCA Boys who are currently Year 7 and moving to Year 8 at school in 2020.

Dates – 20-23 January 2020 – Monday Thursday (9.30-4pm approx.)

Venues – Alternating between Polo Grounds and Mandeville (North Canterbury)

Format – Days 1 & 2 – Short format games to create evenly matches games on Days 3 & 4

Days 3 & 4 – Games based on Day 1 and 2 results – 35 or 40 over games TBC

Pitch Length – 18m

Cost – $50 per player.

PLAYERS ARE ASKED TO ADVISE THEIR COACHES OR YEAR CONVENOR BY 17^TH OF NOVEMBER IN ORDER TO CONSTRUCT TEAMS BASED AROUND EXISTING TEAMS AND COACH AVAILABILITY.

COACHES SHOULD ADVISE THEIR AVAILABILITY TO THE YEAR CONVENOR ASAP.
