New Season (2008/9) Commences - 18 October 2008

Note - as traditionally occurs, draws will be established for the Saturdays during Labour and show weekends. Any teams unable to play during those weekends should contact the draw convenor - Mike Fisher - at Canterbury Cricket Association.

Nominations for Regional Tournament Trials - any time prior to 5pm, 23 October 2008

CJCA Cricket Express Christchurch Regional Tournament -  9, 16, 23 November 2008 (30 November Reserve)    

Representative Matches - 7 and 14 December 2008

Last Club / School matches before Christmas -  20 December 2008

South Island Primary School's Cricket Tournament: 5 to 9 January 2009 (in Rangiora) CJCA Red and CJCA Black teams (for 2008 school year 8 players) to compete. These teams are selected from the players taking part in the November 2008 tournament.

Mandeville Tournament: (near Rangiora) 13 to 16 January 2009 - for 2008 school year 6 players - 'Development' teams from November 2008 tournament, as follows: CJCA Cairns yr 6, CJCA Hadlee yr 6; CJCA Fleming yr 6; CJCA Astle yr 6 teams to compete

Mandeville Tournament: (near Rangiora) 20 to 23 January 2009 - for 2008 school year 7 players -  'Development' teams from November 2008 tournament, as follows: CJCA Cairns yr 7, CJCA Hadlee yr 7; CJCA Fleming yr 7; CJCA Astle yr 7 teams to compete
