When players have developed their confidence and knowledge for what's required and can demonstrate the above skills, reasonably often, judgements should be made as to when it's best to place them into a Kiwi cricket team. Care should be taken not to place players either too early (as this might have a player loose confidence quickly) or too late (as this might have a player lose interest) into a Kiwi cricket team. Every player will be different. Skills and habits developed and practiced at this level will provide young players with the confidence to and opportunity to further develop their cricketing and team skills over many years. School years - for each grade a player remains eligible for the WHOLE season in that grade if eligible for that grade at the start of the season in October. Safety: Coaches are to ensure players remain a safe distance from batsmen. 01 Jun 2007
