    2007 Oamaru

Fine sunny conditions on the first two days was followed by a rained out day on Wednesday - where each team received two points while the following two days were cooler. A very well run tournament with good playing conditions saw Christchurch Black the victor and unbeaten after a nail biting finish on the last day where Dunedin Metro threatened to upset the winner. The fielding trophy was picked up by Nelson for the 13th time. Mid Canterbury returned to Oamaru with 9 of their team from Nelson and were somewhat unlucky as they scored the most runs at the best rate (640 @ 4.05 RPO) and while they were unbeaten, two no result games left them stranded 3 points short of Christchurch Black. Buller beat Marlborough to secure it's first win after a period of 25 matches at the tournament. North Otgao have 7 eligible to return for 2008.
