Managers please contact team Coach and organise a practice day for this week, then ring around your team members to welcome them into the team and inform them of practice day. Coaches can decide what time the team is to meet on Sunday but normally 09:45 at the latest. Captains and Vice-Captains to be appointed by the Coach and Manager.
Parents who have not been contacted by a Coach or Manager by Tue should ring the Manager on the numbers indicated above, we do not have all girls contact details.
The games are held at St Andrews College on the one remaining lower field, the upper artifical turf and grass turf 3. We will also use Heaton for one of the games, this is connected to the St. Andrews grounds. Access to all grounds can be gained from the St Andrews Prep school. Note that access via the short cul-de-sac off St. Andrew's Square may be closed due to work on the new Prep School.
Most teams will meet at 09:45am unless your coach has instructed you otherwise. A brief will be given to players and parents at 10am. Games will get underway by 10:30 and should go through until sometime between 3pm and 4pm. Girls will need a packed lunch, cricket whites, their gear, drink bottle, hat and sun block.
Traiteurs of Merivale have very kindly donated gourmet sausages for our fund-raising barbeque so please bring a gold coin donation and an appetite, all proceeds go to the Wellington trip. Great coffee will be available from The Coffee Shot on site. A big thank you to both of them for supporting us.
