Help for Coaches

CJCA highly recommends the courses and Coaching pathway provided by Christchurch Metro and CCA's highly qualified professionals. It is strongly recommended that all coaches of hard ball grades have at least attended the 'Coaching a Cricket Team' course (was Stage 1 Development Coaching) and preferably go onto do Level 1. There are also excellent Foundation courses that just take a few hours to attend and are free of charge for those who have children just starting out.

To encourage new coaches to start getting involved with their child's cricket the CJCA also offer to pay some of the course costs if they are actively involved with junior cricket coaching. Investigate through Keryn Ambler at Metro or contact Rob Wilkinson on

Contact Keryn Ambler on 281 8963 or 021 105 2552 or for more information.
