Coaching at CJCA
“Good coaching is all about the ability and flexibility to reach and connect with the participant, irrespective of age, gender, or personality so that he/she can receive the support necessary to enjoy cricket and fulfil their potential to whatever appropriate level.” NZC
CJCA’s goal is to have as many qualified coaches involved in junior cricket as possible. It is essential to a players development to get the basics right as young as possible, whilst still teaching skills in a manner so they have fun.
Like our players, CJCA continues to develop a pathway for our coaches. As volunteers, we appreciate the time involved in coaching cricketers, and as part of this, we fund our coaches through the coach training opportunities.
